The new manholes have come to the city centre: round, made of pig-iron and with the eagle (the city’s symbol) in relief in the middle. This is the last stage for completing the new urban decor.
The previous manholes were covered with cement or asphalt, and there were lots of complaints made to the city offices. Why, asked passersby as well as many visiting tourists, after installing such a costly pavement, did the municipal authorities ruin everything
